 Thank you for taking a moment to see what's going on with the youth at
New Hope Baptist Church. New Hope is blessed with a dedicated and
outgoing group of young people. We meet together each Sunday
morning from 10:00 - 10:45AM and each Wednesday night from 7:00 -
8:00PM. Our time together is dedicated to the study and learning
of God's word with an emphasis on life application.
On Wednesday nights, we have established a learning environment that
incorporates discussion within the group. Each week we tackle
issues that face our young people every day and study how God's Holy
Word relates to those issues. We encourage our youth to share
from their expreiences, to ask questions, and to encourage one
another. Our goal is for us to learn and grow together.
We challenge our youth to not only spend time together at church but to
work together, to support, to encourage, and to hold each other
accountable each day. We plan and organize monthly activities for
our youth to develop friendships and closeness. Just a sample of
these events includes trips to Six Flags, snow skiing, The Factory,
skating, and bowling. Our youth attend a summer and a winter
student conference each year. We alternate each summer conference
with a church-wide mission trip.
As often as possible, we also have what we like to refer to as S.N.O.T., Sunday Night Out Together. After Sunday evening services, we like to get together for some fellowship at a local restaurant.
We do not believe our youth are the church of tomorrow, but we believe
the youth are an active functioning member of the body of the church
today. We challenge our youth to be an active part of the
church's ministry.
Anyone in grades 6-12 is invited to come be a part of the group. Come on to New Hope and find "A Place For You".
